About Margot

Margot is a nurse and Atlanta native who is thrilled to join the Wellnest Team. While studying Public Health at Furman University, she gained a deep understanding of the pitfalls of our current healthcare system, opening her eyes to the importance of quality primary care with a focus on illness prevention and health optimization. After graduating, she went on to Emory University to obtain a Master’s of Nursing degree. Margot felt that by entering the field of nursing, she would have the ability to directly impact the lives of her patients by building deep trusting relationships with those she serves.

Her clinical background includes adult critical care, school nursing, and the care of pregnant, birthing, and postpartum families through her work as a doula. Although her time working in the hospital setting was rewarding and educational, Margot felt that she was not able to give her patients the care and attention they deserved within the constraints of the healthcare system. She felt disempowered and saddened by the revolving door of chronically ill patients, inspiring her to seek a nursing position that would allow her to pursue her true passion of promoting health and wellness through a holistic model of care. Above all else, Margot has a passion for meeting people where they are and making them feel good about themselves from the inside out. Margot feels that Wellnest MD is a unique model of care that is revolutionizing what healthcare should be.

Outside of work, Margot enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two year old, trying new restaurants with friends, cooking with her toddler, baking sourdough bread, and trying new fitness studios on ClassPass. Her current favorites are Pilates and kickboxing!
